Michelle and I headed to Wyoming to hunt Mountain lions but upon our arrival the snow we were suppose to get went east of us. With no fresh snow on the ground it made the 5 day hunt nearly impossible. Our friend who was helping us and running dogs did cut tracks and got us on two lions throughout the week but we lost them both on dry ground.( She hunted very hard for us) The hunt was fun but because of no snow turned into a scouting and photography trip. Although we did not get a lion, this hunt reminded me about how blessed we are and that success is not determined by the harvest of an animal. We met some of the greatest and nicest people I have every hunted with. They took us in and treated us as if we were family. I thank them all for the great time we had and although a year away we are already looking forward to the return trip. We were also fortunate enough to be able to spend time photographing some amazing wildlife and beautiful scenery. Please check out some of the world class mule deer and scenery at either www.arthelinoutdoors.com under photography or at www.wildreflectionsphoto.com all the images are at the bottom of the home page under recently added.
I hope you enjoy them as much as I enjoyed taking them. May god bless you this Christmas and I hope you all have a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
