The 2015 ATA show was packed with new and innovative products from any and all manufacturers throughout the bow hunting industry. Unfortunately I was in meetings throughout most of the show so I didn't get to look at everything. I did, however, get to check out some of the great products from these companies:
Hoyt did it again with its new Carbon Spyder zt series and Nitrum series bows. The other bows in the line up are nothing to look away from either. If your in the market for a quiet, smooth shooting fast bow go to www.hoyt.com.
New Archery Products:
NAP came out with 4 new broadheads, (Trivex, Redneck, Swingblade and a 2 inch Spitfire) a new rest (Nighthawk) and some bowfishing gear. NAP quality and sharpness is by far the top standard in broadheads. To check out all the new products go to www.newarchery.com.
Easton just has to many new things to talk about. you have to checkout all their great products at www.eastonarchery.com www.eastonoutfitters.com or www.eastonhunting.com
I am excited for the new cameras in 2015 from Moultrie. They have redesigned the 880,880i and the 990i along with new upgrades to their A5 and a new A7.
Knight and Hale:
Knight and Hale went back to the old look in their packaging, however, the product is new and modern with unmatched sound.
Realtree redesigned its Max pattern to have a new browner more natural color to it. The new pattern is the MAX 1 XT
Tenpoint crossbows redesigned the Horton brand along with upgrades to their already top of the line Tenpoint and Wicked Ridge names. New speeds, new look and many new upgrades.
Northwoods Bear Products
NWBP came out late last year with a cherry burst scent that you can sprinkle on your bear baits. The sweet smell is 5 times stronger than anything else you have ever tried. Between the Gold Rush and Cherry Burst you can bet you will up your odds for a successful bear hunt this spring or fall.
Vortex has proven to be one of the best if not the best line of optics in the country. This year proves no different. The tactical line has some great improvements as does the consumer line. The Crossfire II bino has been completely redesigned and has a great new look and feel to it. The warranty is unmatched.
Delta/McKenzie has been a standard in the target community forever. It has been a trusted name by archers all around the world. They keep improving year after year but bring one of the widest varieties of targets in the industry from paper to 3D.
Code Blue is fast becoming a household name in scent elimination products. Not only do they have a product that is a silver base to kill off or not let certain smelly bacteria grow but they keep growing their scent attractant line along with the scent elimination line. This is a company to be on the lookout for.
I am heading to the SHOT show next Monday for more meetings. However I will have more time to look at other products and hope to bring you back some more info and web addresses on more great outdoor products.
Art & Michelle Helin have enjoyed the outdoors their entire lives. Here, they share their passion with you.
